Itinerary
Your guide will be waiting to meet you at the port. After a warm welcome, you'll be escorted to the Ancient City of Ephesus. Enjoy a guided downhill walk through the ruins of this historic Roman capital, passing notable landmarks such as the Bouleuterion, the Temple of Domitian, Hercules Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, the Celsus Library, and the Great Theater.
Next, you'll be driven to the village of Sirince, just 25 minutes from Ephesus. Perched atop a mountain, Sirince boasts impressive vineyards and charming historical houses, reflecting a unique synthesis of Greek and Turkish cultures. During your visit, you'll explore both a mosque and a church, experiencing the village's rich cultural heritage.
To further immerse you in the local culture, we'll introduce you to traditional weaving techniques at the Teaching Village, where you'll witness the art of handmade carpet and rug creation. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to admire the exquisite ceramics of Ephesus.

Great tour and excellent value.
Great tour led by our guide Selcuk who was very informative and extremely careful to warn of rough and slippery areas during our tour of Ephesus. We had been there ten years earlier but learnt so much more with a guide. We chose to ignore the carpet and ceramic visits so had a good lunch in the town of Selcuk en route to Sirince Village which seemed bigger than our last visit and included a wine tasting, still not sure what's in that jar we bought to take home! Well recommend Smart Tours, made even better with the roomy Merc minibus and the excellent driver who's name escapes me.

Gokhan- The Best Tour Guide Around :)
Our tour was with: Gokhan. He turned out to be the BEST TOUR GUIDE during our 20 yrs. of traveling the world. He’s professional, knowledgeable, kind & very giving. He’s honest & will answer any & all questions. You will NOT be disappointed if you request him. We went over 90 minutes since we bought Turkish rugs after lunch.
