Your guide will be waiting to meet you at the port. After a warm welcome, you'll be escorted to the Ancient City of Ephesus. Enjoy a guided downhill walk through the ruins of this historic Roman capital, passing notable landmarks such as the Bouleuterion, the Temple of Domitian, Hercules Gate, the Temple of Hadrian, the Celsus Library, and the Great Theater.
Next, you'll be driven to the village of Sirince, just 25 minutes from Ephesus. Perched atop a mountain, Sirince boasts impressive vineyards and charming historical houses, reflecting a unique synthesis of Greek and Turkish cultures. During your visit, you'll explore both a mosque and a church, experiencing the village's rich cultural heritage.
To further immerse you in the local culture, we'll introduce you to traditional weaving techniques at the Teaching Village, where you'll witness the art of handmade carpet and rug creation. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to admire the exquisite ceramics of Ephesus.

Wonderful Day Trip to Ephesus and Sirince
Asked our hotel in Alacati to arrange a tour of Ephesus for us. They hooked us up with Smart Turkey Tours. What a pleasant experience. Our tour guide Safak ( Shafak) and driver Kamal arrived at our hotel in Alacati ahead of schedule and we left for the tour at the promised time. Both Safak and Kamal are exceptional professional gentlemen. The two hour drive was very comfortable with Kamal behind the wheel of the very clean and new mini van. Safak, who has his degree in history and tourism was very knowledgeable and engaging. If you like to dig deep into history of places you visit, you should ask for Safak. Based on our experience with hospitality and professionalism demonstrated by Safak and Kamal we highly recommend Smart Turkey Tours.

Best private tour i've had in years
Great tour, I highly recommend taking this tour while in Kusadasi, very informative and exciting for the entire family. The only thing you should know that you have to walk about a mile and if there is a senior member in your group, it may be more compelling. Thanks to person who contacted us after we book the tour, informed us, and prepared for the tour accordingly.

Here again.my wife and I visiting this beautiful country and people. Great day in Ephesus and Sirince Village
I booked excursion with Smart Turkey Tours for our cruise stop in Kusadasi. I choose Ephesus and Sirince Village Tour, to reduce the cost I found other people from our cruise group to share with my husband and I and formed a small 8 people group. Guide and driver met us on time in port and took us to Ephesus for guided tour, he spoke perfect English, was knowledgeable, friendly, answered all our questions, before during and after tour. Gave us some free time for photos. Then we went to Sirince village where he took us around, told us about village life, offered traditional coffee and we agreed to try it, then some free time for shopping. Enjoyed walking around quaint village, great shopping and views. After that we went to the Carpet Weaving Education Center where we had tasty meal, learned about carpet weaving process and some carpets were shown in the show room. Sale people weren't pushy, it didn't take long and no one from our group ended up buying a carpet. We were back in Kusadasi by the cruise ship still with time to shop and explore Kusadasi itself. We all enjoyed our day and I highly recommend booking with that company.
