Day 1 : Ancient Ephesus

Your guide will be waiting to meet you at the airport. After you’ve been welcomed your guide will take you to the House of the Virgin Mary on the top of the beautiful Solmissos Mountains where it is believed Mary spent her last living days.
After the House of the Virgin Mary, you’ll be driven to the Ancient Ephesus, where you’ll enjoy a downhill walk with your guide into the ruins of this Roman capital. Your route takes you past the Bouleuterion, Temple of Domitian, Hercules Gate, Temple of Hadrian, The Celsus Library, and The Great Theater.

We would like to introduce you to the local cultural aspects of Ephesus by showing handmade carpet & rug Art done through traditional weaving in the Teaching Village and you’ll enjoy many of Ephesus Ceramics as well.
